I wanted to add some info i considered relevant:

i seem to have tiff2ps, pdf2ps, pnmtops, giftopnm, ppmtogif, xpmtoppm.

i export some text and a .gif image into .ps.. the text looks ok on ggv, but the image is absent

then i convert to pdf with ps2pdf, and then i extract the images in the pdf with pdfimages: guess what? the inserted image is dumped as a .ppm; so this means the ps is exporting the image, just not showing it

greetings,

Hi,

Im wondering if anyone has reached a clean solution fo including png/jpg/gif images into documents _and_ being able to at least be printable? recently i discovered that even if i keep the document in Texmacs format and try to directly print it, the images are not present. So this is not a problem of the export module only

any ideas? comments? thanks !
