Hello *,

TeXmacs-1.0.3.10 contains a new interface to maxima-5.9.0.9beta1 (which
will also work when the final maxima-5.9.1 will appear). It should be much
more stable than before. (We have at last got rid of maxima-filter, this
terrible old cludge!!!)

Answering the FAQ about describe(something);:
* it works ib cmucl and sbcl;
* it mostly works on clisp (I don't understand the reasons of some
spurious "Still waiting" messages, but it is usable);
* it does not work on gcl (the reason is clear, the solution is not).
