One more question: I was unable to figure out how to resize imported
ps, eps or fig images? Any help?
It is rather unintuitive, but here's how its done:
Place the cursor (insertion mark) directly after the image and hit
[backspace]. You should now see the following:
<postscript|<raw-data>|*5/8|*5/8|l||>
The two *5/8 are the scaling factors used in the horisontal and
vertical directions. The syntax of the poscript primitive is:
<postscript|image-data|with|height|left-clipping|bottom-clipping|right-
clipping|top-clipping>.
So if you want to make your image half size and cut 1cm of the bottom,
you would use:
<postscript|data|*4/8|*4/8||1cm||>
or if you would like an image 5 * 7.5 cm you would use:
<postscript|data|5cm|7.5||1cm||>
Clippingvalues may be negative so you can add whitespace around images.
You may use inches (in) instead of centimeters (cm). To see the result
press [return] while the cursor is inside the < >'s. There is not
(yet?) a way to do this grapically with the mouse.
