Problem in the typesetting of a binomial coefficient

It seems to me that a binomial coefficient raised to a power is not typeset properly (TeXmacs 1.0.6.7).

The following example demonstrates this. First I use \binom, and then parentheses of the same size and a stack between them. In the first case the exponent is placed too low, in the 2nd it is placed nicely.
