Hi,

Has anyone created colour plots with GNUplot(4.0.0) from within
TeXmacs(1.0.6) on a Debian unstable sytem? I am only getting grayscale
plots. For example, plot sin(x),cos(x) creates gray lines, one solid and
one dashed rather than two colours. On the other hand, Maxima from
within TeXmacs uses colours for for the functions in commands like
plot2d([sin(x),cos(x)],[x,0,2*%pi]) even though it is essentially a
front-end for GNUplot.

Yes. You must modify the file at:

/usr/lib/texmacs/TeXmacs/bin/tm_gnuplot

and change the line:

init='reset~set terminal postscript eps enhanced ....

for:

init='reset~set terminal postscript color eps enhanced ...

and restart TeXmacs.

Bye,
