Hi,

you'll need at least 1 Go RAM on your PC at school.

But, at your school, someone called Personne Ressource or Responsable
TICE, should help you to perform this install.

If the PC is OK, ubuntu looks out being a good choice : easy to install.

To download it, google is your friend and choose a good server. But just
ask at your school, i'm sure some colleagues hace ubuntu's iso.
