Hello everybody,

When using the two-column mode (Document -> Add package -> Customize ->
two-columns), a small figure is not always aligned properly to the center of
its column. More precisely, it is shifted to the right in the case when the
figure is at the beginning of a new paragraph, in which case it is indented
as if it was a normal text. Is this the desired behavior?

(Of course one can cure the mis-alignment by inserting a new line or line
break instead of hitting enter before the figure....). In my opinion
indenting a figure at the beginning of a paragraph is a bit strange, although
I can imagine this can be useful if a paragraph starts with a fancy small
picture of the first letter of the first word, as in some books...

Anyway, it would be probably useful to have an option to turn the indentation
for a figure on/off (it can be desired that a figure belongs to a specific
paragraph and remain unindented). Can this be done by some kind of negative
indent or alike?

Cheers,

Peter
