I've also seen the same problem, it has nothing to do with itensor. You can see it if you simply type "1+1" in the maxima session. The problem is caused by a new definition of "myprinc" in mactex.lisp of maxima 5.30. I've reported the problem some time ago to Andrey Grozin, and he is working on it.

To enable the Lisp debugger set *debugger-hook* to nil.
On raring maxima 5.30 coming from ppa doesn't find draw. But works properly with 5.29.1.
