To undo changes to preferences in TeXmacs, you can delete or rename the directory ~/.TeXmacsSo, do the following from the terminal:mv ~/.TeXmacs ~/.TeXmacs.14May2014Now TeXmacs might start working again. You will lose all your TeXmacs settings, though. You can also see more information about why TeXmacs crashes by starting it from the command line.Again, from a terminal window do:
/Applications/TeXmacs-1.99.1.app/Contents/MacOS/TeXmacs(Here I'm assuming that TeXmacs is installed in the directory /Applications and that the app is called"TeXmacs-1.99.1")Michael2014-05-14 10:15 GMT+02:00 Vincent Douce <address@hidden>:
hione teacher of the mathlyc franch yahoogroups forum contacted me because he was convinced by my repeated suggestions of using texmacs in highschoolsbut his texmacs crashedhere is the mail he sent me.Thanks for himVincent-----------------------------------------------À la lecture de tes messages il y a quelques semaines, je me suis décidé à installer ce logiciel sur mon MacBook Air. Mon système est OSx 10.9.2i decided to install texmacs on my macbook air (X.9.2). I discovered it, used an appreciated it during a week without problems. but since yesterday imposible to launch texmacs. It crashes at opening, then nothing happens. i uninstalled everything but the problem remains. would you have an idea ? the last manip i did was customizing the preferences to make the popup helps viewable.Jean-Marie
