I had to "checkout" an SVN repository for the .svn directory to appear and
for TexMacs to pick it up. And it lets me commit which is awesome. I
apologize for not knowing SVN properly.
This paragraph you wrote should probably be in the documentation of TexMacs
at a point (or if it is there already then I missed it).

Does TexMacs also show diffs with other versions? When I click 'Version >
History' it says that the file is not under version control. I ideally would
like to be able to compare various revisions from the SVN log and accept or
reject the changes other authors made.
