Bonjour,

Mon éditeur me demande des modifications que je ne sais pas faire, peut-être il y a parmi vous des utilisateurs qui savent.

1) Certains titres de chapitres ou de sections contiennent des mots longs et du coup TeXmacs, dans sa justification, crée quelque chose de trop espacé et de moche. Comment éliminer ces espaces ? Ou alors comment forcer une césure pour tenter de résoudre ce problème ?

1) Bis. Le problème 1 existe aussi avec des lignes du texte... Mais je m'en suis sorti.

2) Ma page de dédicace contient l'en-tête << Indice >>. C'est très étonnant, et je ne sais pas comment résoudre ce problème. De plus, mon éditeur ne veut pas que le numéro de cette page apparaisse. Je ne sais pas comment faire.

3) Parfois le numéro d'une page apparaît centrée en bas (cela arrive avec la première page de chaque chapitre). Mon éditeur me demande de corriger cela...

4) L'en-tête de chaque page paire contient le titre du chapitre en cours. Mon éditeur voudrait quelque chose comme << Chapitre xy. Titre >>. Existe-t-il une manière de demander cela à TeXmacs ?

5) Quand on énumère des items, avec tirets ou puces, par exemple, TeXmacs insère des espaces verticaux que mon éditeur trouve trop grands. Il voudrait que les items soient séparés (verticalement) comme des lignes quelconques du texte.

6) Quand on saute une ligne, pour bien séparer deux paragraphes, est-il possible de demander à TeXmacs que l'espace vertical ainsi obtenu soit plus fin ? Par exemple 4 ou 5 points.

Hello,

my publisher wants me to make some modifications in my document (it's a book) but i don't know how to do it. Maybe you know...

1) Some titles (chapters or sections) are written with too big spaces between the words. This is because in these titles, there are longs words. My publisher does not like the way TeXmacs justifies these titles and i can understand it. How can we make shorter spaces ? Maybe the solution is to break a word, but how can i do this ?

1) Bis. the problem #1 happens with few lines in the text but i have solved this.

2) I have written a page out of any chapter in the beginning of the book (a page like << to David my brother... >>). The problem is that the pagefront (the top) contains << Index >>. The index of the book is in the end of the document. Why does TeXmacs put this information in a page so far from the INDEX ? It's not logical, i suppose this is a bug.

My publisher wants the top of this page free of anything : he wants me to avoid the number of this page. How can i do this ?


3) The number of the first page of any chapter is written on the bottom (centered on the bottom). My publisher wants me to put the number as always : on the top...

4) If the number of a page is even, the information on the top is the title of the chapter. My publisher wants me to put something like << Chapter 3. Title >> (in french of course)

5) When we make a list of items, like this :

complex are useful for :
-- this ;
-- this ;
-- and this.

TeXmacs inserts a vertical space between the items. My publisher does not want any vertical space. He wants the usual vertical space (like between any lines).
 

6) When i separate two parts like this :
<<
Bla bla bla bla bla bla

Bla bla bla bla bla
>>
my publishers wants me to reduce the vertical space between the two parts. How can i get a 4 points vertical separation (4 or 5 points) ?
