HI:

I am working with a set of documents each one with a table of contents, a list
of tables and a list of figures.

Now I am packing all of them in the project. I create a master document and
attach the chapters to it as a master.

However, i find that teh table of contents of the chapter is numbered with the
"local numbering", i.e. chapter 3 starting in page 50 should be numbered pages
51, 52.... but uses numbers 1, 2 ...3 (thats what i call local numbering)

I have created a table of contents in the master doc and this one is correct.
But i would like to keep the chapters with individual TOC and tables of list.

I think there are two possible solutions:

a) telling the chapters that they should mimic the masters numbering when
compiling what is complicated as the files should be considered autonomous and
hence when printed as individuals or as book the numbering should be
different
b) manually adding the partial TOC at the begining of the chapters just before
the <\include|chaptername> instruction

However i cannot figure out how to do any of those solutions. Any help?

Cheers
