Of course, the environment variable for numbering pages is page-nr !

I think there is an error  when you type :

you got <assign|nr-pages|4> wich is wrong I think.

you have to type

<assign|page-nr|3> if you want your page numbered 4.

<nr-pages>

then 'enter'

you should get 4,

Thanks for the help, but it does not work for me

if i type \assign in the page i do not get anything

if i use the \ from the keyboard (altgr etc...)

i get <\>

if i type assign +enter i get <assign||>

i type -nr and the number

but it does not work

is it me , is it ubuntu ?
