I am completely new as a TexMecs user and it is my first post to this list.

I have seen many tutorials and read some parts of the TexMacs user guide.

It seems to be very good.

I installed TexMac on my almost new MacBookPro (Mojave 10.14.6).

But I have a few big problems! For example...

• When I clic on "Title" , the green-blue rectangle appears and when I type the title, the cursor move but nothing is written.

• When I insert an equation (in line or display) and, suppose I want to insert a large delimiter or an integral sign, I click on the proper button and the scrolling menu appears but the list of symbols is incomplete, only a few symbols appear (see attached images).

I tried to reinstall it, I tried an older version of TeXMacs, I restarted my computer in safe mode to, hopefully, disable potentially problematic "extensions" of the system.

Nothing works!

Surprisingly, on my very old iMac, everything seems to work very well.

I was about to give up and I found this forum.

Does someone know why these problems appear and how to solve it?
