Dear all,

I find that in TeXmacs 1.99.13 and I find that when I generate a footnote, the superscript label number is not linked to the footnote. In particular, if I click it, it does not direct me to the footnote.

Then I look at the source code

https://github.com/texmacs/texmacs/blob/7de299dcb73b8a0485bc740cb2315fc6ec193987/TeXmacs/packages/environment/env-float.ts#L123

It looks weird in my eyes (although I don't know the meaning of many seemingly undocumented commands like \hard-id, \id, \set-bindings). It looks like the \label is set at the place of the reference, not on the footnote. I don't know whether my understanding of this code is correct. It seems to me that \label should be in the \render-footnote instead of out of it?

Best wishes,

Frank
