XF86... keys not recognized by TeXmacs 1.99.13

Hello,

The documentation on the keyboard, Help -> Configuration -> Keyboard Configuration, "Mastering the Keyboard",
sec. 1, says that keys like XF86Copy, XF86Paste, etc, should be recognized by TeXmacs on a Unix system.  
I am running FreeBSD, but none of these keys are being recognized. I use Emacs look-and-feel.
