You can alleviate the problem by using the steps suggested here:


(I haven't tried myself)

Inside a python environment, the executable is called 'python' so I think TeXmacs will find it again.

Didn't notice that python wasn't automatically linked to the last python version installed, for me under ubuntu 20.04 python3.

BUT it hangs and doesn't finish to load python "En cours ..." in french and red
