You have to be a bit more precise about the steps that you followed.
Do you have a separate .bib file or do you use the integrated bibliography
tool?
In the first case, you should:
- Save your TeXmacs document.
- Put your .bib file in the same directory.
- Insert the bibliography and specify your bib file
- Regenerate the document (maybe several times).
If you don't have LaTeX installed, then you must use one of the standard
bibliography styles that are prefixed by 'tm-', like 'tm-plain'.
