Thank you!

To help the documentation writers, here is a proposed change for the documentation (I took some of your wording as well):

In order to activate semantic editing facilities, place your cursor in a math formula and click the Σ+wrench icon in the mode-dependent toolbar (which now shows Math mode icons). You will see a drop-down list where you can toggle Semantic editing preferences as shown in the following image.

Hi Mirko,

it looks like the documentation is outdated. Thanks for pointing this out.

The option can be turned on by placing the cursor in a math formula and then using the dropdown menu with a wrench+Sigma icon in the mode-dependent toolbar.

Hello,

This is Windows TeXmacs 2.1, SVN revision 13558M.

I want to turn on semantic editing. The documentation (Menu->Help->Mathematical Formulas) points me to Menu -> Preferences -> Mathematics -> Semantic Editing.

The Preferences window does not have the Mathematics tab. I see the following four tabs: General, Keyboard, Export, Other.

I tried invoking it with cursor in both Math and Text mode.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the documentation incorrect?

Thank you,

Mirko
