- Subject: problem with smart use of the keyboard
- Date: Sat, 9 Feb 2002 22:32:22 +0100
I am reading the keyboard.tm documentation and I am still at a loss
when doing some operation, The reason is probably is that some
vocabulary is introduced without explanation: macro, function,
quote...
Worse some is incorrect:
ESC-i-s does not introduce a symbol
As an example, I try to reproduce a boxed key by typing an appropriate
key sequence. So I type esc-i-e-k-e-y-|-a to get a boxed a. But the a is
not treated as a literal and I get:
<apply|key|a>
which is pasted BTW as:
<apply|key\|a>
I tried many variation with no luck. I think that such a terse
documentation is a major impediment to master TeXmacs. And the
frustration is proportional to the expectations. :)
