Ok,
Before somebody tries to RTM me, I read the manual and the FAQ, and I still
don't understand HOW can I use labels. Two examples:
I want to have equations, such as
x=1+y (1)
y=2/x (2)
etc.
in which the number of the equations are entered automatically. Also I want
to
refer to equation 1 in a way that if I had an equation BEFORE equation 1, it
changes the reference in all the document to equation 2.
The same thing applies to figures and tables. So if I have figure 1 in the
text, how can I reference to it?
Sorry if this sounds like a novice question (it is), but neither the manul
not
the FAQ are clear on this point.
Thanks!
Carlos
