In my Debian system (1.0.3.7 from experimental ftp.texmacs.org)
\longleftrightarrow works ok in the menu and when typed. But
\Longleftrightarrow is not evaluated: Error:unknown command.

Plus, the font used for macros is sans-serif (new style) out of math,
and serif (old style inside math).

Anyway: <==> works from the menus and also typed as a shortcut, which is
what I recommend you at the moment.
