I've tried to follow the instructions for compiling a book glossary with
no joy. I put an insert->link->glossary->explained following the term
that I wish to add to the glossary. These tags appear in the printed
text. When I switch the document style from book to source, the
glossary-explain tag appears inside an inactive tag.
The books is built up by insert->link->include tags with the front
matter and back matter in the master as recommended for large documents
with figures and math sessions.
At the end of the book (master file) I have put a Glossary chapter. The
contents of this chapter are a text->automatic->glossary.
I do a document->update->all. The table of content, list of tables, and
list of figures all generate correctly.
What is causing the glossary tags to be wrapped in an inactive tag?
What did I forget to do?
TeXmacs is way cool and generally a pleasure to use. This has been the
only sticky problem encountered that I've not solved on my own. I have
no local TeXmacs magicians to appeal to for help and have had no joy
with a Google search.
Thanks for your consideration,
Dave Hamby
