Hu? I really don't think I changed the default, and for me it does
"expand abbrev" in Emacs. Delete the word is M-d or M-<backspace>.

The documentation? ;-) I fear that indeed not all shortcuts are listed
there. Oh, well, the source then. In kbd-emacs.scm (or something like
that).
