It happened to me something similar with labels that I inserted *inside*
section titles. Because those labels where automatically copied by
texmacs in the summary, this resulted in having a label defined twice in
the document (one time in the summary, the other in the section title).
This causes Texmacs to display the question mark. I guess that you have
a similar situation: a label inside the figure caption is automatically
copied in the list of figures. You should move the label out of the
caption or move the LOF out of the document.
