I was wondering if it was possible to customize the auto-save process in 
TeXmacs. I would like to have some of the features I have in emacs. 
Specifically, I would like it to save several versions of edits 
(versions the edits) and put all of them in a central directory, no 
matter what directory I am editing in.  Is there a way to write this up 
in scheme for TeXmacs?
