Is cos(2x)+1 positive or negative?
I reply that it's positive, and get a nicely typeset result.
Checked with TeXmacs-1.0.6, maxima-5.9.2 on all 4 supported lisps
on Gentoo Linux (I don't do windows, sorry :-)
