I am trying to use index function on the list of figures and list of tables. But we only see the automatic index on the page number after TextàAutomaticàList of Figures or List of Tables. No information on the left hand side of the list.

Does anybody give me the hint how to get list of figures and list of tables working correctly? Do I need add some label references for each figure or table?
