- Subject: figure and table environment in 1.0.6
- Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2006 08:29:30 +0100
I have switched to TeXmacs version 1.0.6 recently (Gentoo Linux).
In this version, when I open a new document (File->New) and
try to insert a figure environment (Insert->Image->Small Figure)
or a table (Insert-> Table->Small table), then the desired
environment does not appear. Instead "<small-figure>" or
"<small-table>" appear in red color, indicating that something is
wrong. This happens when I select style "generic", "article",
"book" etc..
I then found that switching to article style and including
the package env-base or env (Document->Add package->Environment->...)
brings up the environment for figures and tables. However,
then "<auto-label>" occurs in red.
Actually I would expect that the environments for figures and
tables are enabled when available on the menu.
Am I missing something?
Or is there some specific action necessary in version 1.0.6 to get
the environments for figures and tables work properly?
Is the behaviour the same on other platforms?
Thanks a lot for any help!
