I tried to draw some graphics in TeXmacs, but after a while I found
it's too slow to draw even the simplist thing.
It depends a little bit on your machine, things need
to be improved (more double-buffering & things like
that), especially for machines that are a little bit
older.
Currently, the priority is to complete a first
coherent, reasonable & useful set of features,
after that we plan to focus on improvements
about the speed, having a better interface,
documentation, etc.
Nevertheless, I'm a little bit surprised
that for simple graphics the speed is
still a problem : we are aware of speed
problems, but for simple things, these
should not happen if your machine is
relatively recent. Could you give more
info (speed, memory, OS) about the machine
you use ?
I can find no way to delete the graphicsThere is currently a bug with this in
rectangle from the document.
the version 1.0.6, which doesn't exists
anymore in 1.0.6.5.
Just select the graphics (i.e., have the red
rectangle around it), and then hit Backspace.
In 1.0.6., you must select things around the
graphics, too, to be able to delete the selection.
Thanks you for reminding me this (recurrent)
problem.
