Is Cygtexmacs updated regularly with CVS?
under Linux, this problem never arises, you just need to
update from the CVS, and then compile again. I don't know
how compilation from sources works under Cygwin. It
is my understanding that a special compilation is needed,
because Cygwin doesn't supports the ELF format (at least,
it seems to me things are this way).
As a consequence, the people who do the Cygwin distro
perhaps use a special compilation system, but to get more
details, one should ask them. It is also rather possible that
they just do their compilaton with the standard make / gcc
combination, but obtain an .exe file in the end of the process
instead of an ELF.
If things are this way, you just need to download
the last CVS and recompile it under Cygwin. Otherwise,
perhaps there are some special extra-steps you would
need to do, but probably not, now that I'm thinking
at that.
