Hi,

you could perhaps try with a two cells table (one above the other). For
sums where i have to put conditions (for example, 1<=i<=n and i odd) it
works fine.

Hope it helps,

MLL

Dear Marc,

I don't know if this may be relevant concerning your remark : in order to put some indices below a sum, you can simply use the usual 'subscript' command, which you get either by typing the underscore key '_' after the \sum command. Then :

- in math mode on a line, you will get a the indices ont the bottom right of the sum sign
- in equation mode on a separate line, you get a big sum with indices below as you want.
- on a text line, you can still get the same result by typing the sum inside a 'displaystyle' command

See file attached.

Bests,

Komla

Hi,

I need to put a * above right arrow --->. LaTeX can do this with
\stackrel. But I can't find a way to do it in TeXmacs. Any hint?

Another question is that overlined characters with \overline appears
ugly in TeXmacs while LaTeX doesn't have this problem.
