Can anybody find a reason why the delimiters in the attached file do no balance?!?
In the .pdf you can see exactly what I see within TeXmacs (1.0.6.8) as well: The five expressions all are formatted as quantum mechanical ket-vectors, i.e. the | on the left and the > on the right are supposed to match in height in each case. All are formatted using <left|\|> resp. <right|rangle>.
Either I'm missing something trivial or there is a really subtle glitch in the typesetter that never showed up before.
