Thanks Andrey, I got it to work after a second attempt. I noticed after the first that there is no texmacs-maxima-5.12.0.lisp in /usr/lib/texmacs/TeXmacs/bin/ so I added the line:What you've done is right. There is no texmacs-maxima-5.12.0.lisp, because no backward-incompatible changes were introduced in maxima-5.12.0. The same file texmacs-maxima-5.11.0.lisp should be used.
5.12.*) exec maxima -u $1 -l $2 -p $TEXMACS_MAXIMA_PATH/texmacs-maxima-5.11.0.lisp";;
to tm_maxima instead of my original attempt with
5.12.*) exec maxima -u $1 -l $2 -p $TEXMACS_MAXIMA_PATH/texmacs-maxima-5.12.0.lisp";;
and not it works. Is there no texmacs-maxima-5.12.0.lisp in the latest package of texmacs for debian?
