Hi all,
first of all, thanks a lot to everybody involved in developing TeXmacs and
making this such a great tool - I used it to write my thesis, to create
conference posters, as a note-taking tool, for CD booklets and, recently, for
doing statistics with R in interactive sessions.
Now I whould like to use the folding/unfolding feature for subsessions, but
the needed keyboard shortcuts (M-A-up for folding and M-A-down for unfolding)
aren't working. I am able to fold or unfold subsessions using F10 and F11,
but it isn't possible to selectivly apply this to subsessions. For example,
if I've got five folded subsessions in my document and like to have only the
third one unfolded. The cursor is positioned there. But when I press F11, the
first folded subsession in the documents gets unfolded, not the third, where
my cursor is located. Pressing F11 again, the second subsession gets unfolded
and so on... So it is ony possible to unfold subsession three if all previous
subsessions are unfolded, too. Being like that, the subsession feature is
quite useless for me.
I suspect the M-A-up/down shortcuts to do the expected things, but they
aren't
working here (TeXmacs 1.0.6 on Kubuntu Feisty).
So here comes my question: Is there a way to selectivly fold or unfold
subsessions? If the not working shortcut is exactly the way to do it, is
there any clue on how the aren't working or how I could create a workaround?
So long, and thanks for all the fish,
Benno.
