To reproduce the problem, open texmacs
Help -> Manual -> Typing simple texts
gives the following error on the command line
TeXmacs] With linked TrueType support
/usr/share/texmacs/TeXmacs/progs/doc/tmdoc.scm:149:36: In procedure
stree->tree in expression (stree->tree doc):
/usr/share/texmacs/TeXmacs/progs/doc/tmdoc.scm:149:36: string contains #\nul
character: "Grave \x00"
Using Debian Sid, texmacs 1.0.6.11. Any work arounds?
