I just installed ubuntu 8.04 and texmacs in it.

anything, for example, a greek letter, an equantion environment, then texmacs
will not receive inputs from keyboard any more!

but if you click on another window, and then click back to texmacs, it's back
to normal.

I also use it in ubuntu 7.10 on another computer, no such problem exists.

does anybody know what's the reason and how to solve it? thank you.

Which window managers are you using, and what versions of TeXmacs and the window manager are installed on the two computers?
