Hi,

I try to compile TeXmacs with Qt-4.4. Here is my system:

Slax-Linux,

gcc-4.2.3

After modifying some setting and files as follows:

a) set mkspecs from macx-g++ to linux-g++ in Makefile
b) src/Plugins/QTMGuiHelper.hpp
line 16 <QMacStyle> -> <QCommonStyle>
line 45: QTMStyle::pixelMetric -> pixelMetric

It seems successfully compiled. I can see TeXmacs Windows, but it always

crashes as I try to input. Here the error messages:

TeXmacs] Installing internal plug-ins...
TeXmacs] Opening display...
TeXmacs] Try tfm ecrm1000.tfm
TeXmacs] Open pk ecrm11.300pk
TeXmacs] Loading larm.enc
TeXmacs] Starting server...
TeXmacs] Evaluating /usr/local/share/TeXmacs/progs/init-texmacs.scm...
TeXmacs] With linked TrueType support
TeXmacs] Creating 'no name' buffer...
TeXmacs] Try tfm ecrm1000.tfm
TeXmacs] Open pk ecrm10.600pk
TeXmacs] Evaluating /usr/local/share/TeXmacs/progs/init-buffer.scm...
TeXmacs] Starting event loop...
Segmentation fault

Anyway, TeXmacs without qt runs very well.

Best wishes,

cch

P.S.
This version can not works with Qt-3 (?).
