There are several other problems, most of which are minor.
The remaining major challenges:

  * Segfaults on several Linux machines and for several versions of Qt.
  * MinGW port.
  * We suspect a memory leak (simultaneously run texmacs and top).

Any help would be appreciated, of course.
We will take care of Russian and migration to Unicode at a second stage.
