Hi,
the qt port has some problems with the most recent versions of QT/ X11 (4.4.3). It is still not clear where the bug is. One solution is to use Qt 4.3 or the debug version of the 4.4 libraries. I'm sorry.

best,
massimiliano

We have experienced this on two different machines (kubuntu (kde4, qt4) and Debain (gnome, qt4)).
texmacs starts, but segfaults when pressing File, or any other menu item.
The toolbar and the other parts seem to work.
Do you want more information?
Bas
