Hi,

Just download TeXmacs svn source and try to compile with qt-4.4.3 and it
works. Here the result:

System info: Linux-2.6.27, gcc-4.2.3
1. make sure 
   libQtCore.so.4 libQtCore.so: link to libQtCore.so.4.4.3
   libQtGui.so.4 libQtGui.so: link to libQtGui.so.4.4.3
2. export QMAKESPEC variable as follows:
   export QMAKESPEC=linux-g++

The binary had been tared a with the qt-4.4.3 dependent library and put in the
site:

http://diffusion.cgu.edu.tw/ftp/TeXmacs/TeXmacs-qt-1.0.7.2cvs.tgz

Octave plugin for 3.0.3 has also included.
