Adrian,

I can't compile 1.0.7.1 either. I have posted the problem to the developers list.
Try 1.0.7 again, it should work with Sun's compilers. Let me know. If that fails, I will dig up instructions for gcc, although I don't use gcc any more unless I really have to.

TeXmacs is the best, I agree.

not make it work. I can try with TeXmacs 1.0.7 with the instructions
you gave me again.

The system administrator is also looking into pkgsrc.

I will try to compile TeXmacs 1.0.7 over the weekend. You mentioned
that it was possible to compile it with gcc. How would you do that?

I appreciate all the effort!

And I love TeXmacs.

Adrian,

Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to post a binary. I'm happy to send
instructions, but that's all I can do. 1.0.7 works fine on Solaris 10 Sparc.

It seems to be the right one, I will talk to the System Administrator.
If it works, it will be sweet.

Thanks!

Hi, I have tried to compile TeXmacs in the solaris 10 box that we

Maybe its possible with pkgsrc (see
http://netbsd.org/docs/software/packages.html#platforms and
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/current/pkgsrc/editors/TeXmacs/README.html

I undertand that Kostas has been able to compile it either with gcc or
with sun studio.
Maybe its also a good idea to check the archive of this ML for further
information.

HTH & Greetings,
Robert
