To sum up, the TeXgraph plugin will provide two kinds of exports :
1. direct export to eps (compiled or not)
-> with a good screen display, a good printing and a good export to pdf - but with no transparency at all.
2. export to pdf (compiled or not) then convert to ps
-> with a bad screen display, a good printing and a good export to pdf - but with a "flattened" transparency
As I said in my previous mail: post-script does not know about alpha-transparency, so any raster image that is converted via PS is flattened. PDF can handle alpha-transparency, but TeXmacs does not support direct PDF export. When you export to PDF, TeXmacs actually writes to PS and calls ps2pdf internally, so all alpha transparency is flattened. Currently, there is no way to export from TeXmacs to PDF retaining transparency.
In fact, I meant an export to pdf from TeXgraph (produced by CmdTeXgraph) then a conversion from this pdf to ps within TeXmacs. And my "flattened" transparency is a "false" transparency.

To see what I mean, please have a look a the file : http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/246467/TeXgrah/texgraph.pdf

There are two illustrations of the two kinds of exports.
