SuSE 11.2 64bit KDE
as suggested I installed from SuSE repository
after installing texlife ( from DVD ),
yast installed TeXmacs
in
/usr/lib/TeXmacs
I
added
export TEXMACS_PATH=/usr/lib/TeXmacs
export PATH=$TEXMACS_PATH/bin:$PATH
in
my .profile  .
