document->add package->Customize->number-europe

You can find this information by searching the help (hit F1) typing in "numbering" and reading the second paragraph.

Hi for all:

I would like know how to redefine the counter in the command <\example> and <\definition>, both are using the same. If i write:

<\definition>
bla bla
<\example>
bla bla
<\definition>
bla bla
<\example>

the result is a thing as:

Definición 1 bla bla
Ejemplo 2 bla bla
Definición 3 bla bla
Ejemplo 4 bla bla

¡the counter is the same!

I'm using the document style: article, but i tried with book and others and  don't change nothing.

Thanks for your collaboration
