I decided to use TeXmacs for writing a small 3 pages  report today (I don't regularly use it, but come back to it every not and then).

But I needed a .tex file as well, so when I finished I ran export to latex.

To my surprise, the result is a myreport.tex file EMPTY (zero, cero, zarroo bytes).
????

I tried exporting html, verbatim text, pdf, postscript, XML, all work correctly, but latex export is broken.
I'm using TeXmacs 1.7.0.3 on archlinux

I researched and this problem was also reported on
https://lists.texmacs.org/wws/arc/texmacs-users/2010-01/msg00003.html
and
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?23999

but so far no fix seems to be available.

Could anyone share wisdom on this?
