If copying and pasting is the only thing that is bothering you, you should consider setting your "look and feel" to "Windows":
With this configuration, C-c is the copy shortcut and C-v is the pasting; similarly, C-x is cut shortcut.

I've installed TeXmacs in my ubuntu 10.04 and use it a lot, this has so far been the only matheditor which allows me to write fast enough for note-taking in class. I have some basic questions:
How do I change shortcuts? I would like copy paste cut undo redo to be Ctrl-c v x z y respectively as is common in most software, I've searched the web for this but so far I haven't found how to do it.
