I need help.

I have used Texmacs to document analysis of electronic circuits for several 
years.  When I updated to MAC OS 10.6.4 much of my Linux software stopped 
working.  I reinstalled all the software using MacPort.  Both Texmacs and 
Octave functions when run separate, but Octave will not work as a Texmacs 
Session.

 The error is related to variables being used that are "function instead of a 
built-in variable".

Where can I go to get help with this?
