I wish some of these properties weren't actually part of the document tree, along with the state of folds and switches.I wish the switch and fold state were at least stored in the pre-amble instead of inline.

1. Load testcase.tm
2. Select Part > Show one part (note that still both parts are shown)
3. Try to select "Chapter 1" and "Section 1.1." -> crash.
The result of step 2 is in "testcase-onepart.tm":
1. Load "testcase-onepart.tm"
2. Try to select "Chapter 1" and "Section 1.1." -> crash.

Hello,
I find Texmacs constantly crashing when I select text over the beginning
of a new section (i.e. the selection includes text from the previous
section and the header of the following section).
I found that for some reason, Texmacs inserts several nested <show-part>
tags. If I remove these tags, Texmacs does not write them back and editing
works afterwards. However this is not really a solution, since it it quite
time-consuming to find all the nested tags and properly remove them. Has
anyone else experienced this problem, and is there some workaround?
I've never observed it, but often if I use cursor key selection of some
custom blocks the caret suddenly jumps to the end of the document.
Do you know any steps you take which cause the show-part tags to be inserted?
