I'm writing the getting started guide for literate programming with texmacs.

I find that I need to show slices of a page as it will develop on the readers computer, assuming they work through the exercises, or to illustrate what would happen if they did.

I want to clearly distinguish between what would appear on their page and the content of the guide.

I might show repeated views of their "page 1" as it grows in length.

Are there any styles which might help?

Primarily I would like borders to mark their page boundary, and perhaps drop-shadows. Wavy "torn paper effect" top and bottom borders would be jolly nice (but I doubt they exist).

A bonus would be an embedded page environment where I can reset the page number and aspects of the document content within that mini page.

Does anyone have styles or advice that may help here?
